Pete Best’s jacket

Pete Best, the original drummer for The Beatles 1960-1962, wore this honeycomb patterned shirt jacket at the recording session of 'My Bonnie' and all of the band's first German sessions for Polydor.

The jacket is signed three times by Pete on the front, collar and inside.

The jacket is on display in The Beat Goes On exhibition at World Museum Liverpool until 1 November 2009.
