Envelope for a Hofner Beatles guitar string (now empty). Made by Selmer, London, 1963/64.

Text on the envelope reads:

"Hofner BEATLES GUITAR STRING
made to the Beatles own specification

Selmer
LONDON

FOURTH 5067/4
TAPE-WOUND"

The envelope is on display in The Beat Goes On exhibition at World Museum Liverpool until 1 November 2009.
