Dogs online exhibition
These two examples of the Dog Rose, Latin name 'Rosa canina', are both from the Botany collections at World Museum. The first is a print of an early illustration of a Dog Rose. The second is an example of an actual pressed specimen of Dog Rose. This is called a herbarium specimen, and it was collected in Bourton, Dorset on 28 June 1919.
The botany collections at World Museum are of both scientific and historical importance and are used as a reference tool by experts all over the world.
