Romance online exhibition
Accession number MLL.2005.41.6

Some very lucky people who attended this event at the Locarno in 1963 can now claim that The Beatles were their Valentines! They had to share them with at least 500 ladies, but most fans of the band probably wouldn't have minded that at all.
The text on the handbill reads:
'Locarno Liverpool

This handbill, which is not currently on display, was originally shown in the exhibition Collecting The Beatles. at the former Museum of Liverpool Life in 2005-2006.
Other romantic objects in the collection relating to The Beatles include the 'All You Need Is Love' bedspread, from John Lennon and Yoko Ono's Montreal 'Bed-In For Peace' in room 1742 of the Queen Elizabeth Hotel, Montreal in 1969.
