Romance online exhibition

Love is in the air! Museums and galleries are incredibly romantic places. If you are not convinced then have a look at some of the amorous objects from our collections below. Be warned though, the path of true love doesn't always run smoothly, so there isn't a happy ending to every story they tell.

Everything here is from the diverse collections at National Museums Liverpool. Some of the objects are on display, others are currently in storage, while many form part of the vast collection of research items held at the museums. The only place that you can see them all together is here on this website.
