This handbill is advertising a special Valentine's evening at Liverpool's Rialto Ballroom. The text on the handbill reads:

'St Valentine's Gala Night at the RIALTO BALLROOM, FRIDAY FEBRUARY 12th 1937 8-0 to 2am

You and your friends will have a great time amid the enchanting surroundings of the Rialto, Dancing to the “Soft Melodies” and “Hot Rhythm” of McCormick‘s Famous Ambassadors. Dozens of prizes and numerous novelties.
