Pair of brilliant red and silver crocodile-skin leather platform shoes, made in London by Terry de Havilland in about 1972-73.

Terry de Havilland is famous as the maker of stage shoes for many of the glam rock stars of the early 1970s, including people like Mick Jagger and David Bowie. His signature material was snakeskin, both natural and metallic.

Terry relaunched his business in 2004 and is now one of the most sought-after makers of high fashion shoes.
