Madam,
Perhaps the most interesting feature of fashionable footwear to-day is the influence of American ideas in foot-fitting & the influx of new and refreshing designs from New York.
The two shoes illustrated are made upon American models and from American designs, but the workmanship has beencarried out by London craftsmen who are world-famous for their skill. The 'Grenadier', price 59/6, has an intriguing 'Sword' fastening which is particularly effective, whilst the reversible strap on the 'Clarence', price 49/6, provides a unique method of changing the appearance of the shoe in a few seconds.
They are obtainable in various colours and materials, and sample shoes will readily be sent for inspection.
We are, Madam,
Yours faithfully.
J. Collinson & Co."
