This photograph is from a cruise album belonging to Miss V Maughfling.
Miss Maughfling was a regular cruise passenger and her albums of photographs, some of which are now in the Maritime Archives and Library, provide an interesting insight into life on board. As well as the old favourite 'Deck Tennis', there are also photographs of the lesser-known 'Thread the Needle Race' and 'Cigarette Race'!
