Smuggler's ski boots

Ski boots are an essential piece of equipment for skiing. However, there is more to this pair than meets the eye!

Both of the boots have a removable insole which reveals a space where Customs Officers found a hidden concealment of drugs. They were seized by HM Customs and Excise in Southend in September 1991 and later transferred to Seized! the national museum of HM Revenue and Customs
