Liverpool Stadium wrestling posters

The now-demolished Liverpool Stadium in Bixteth Street was a major wrestling venue attracting Friday night full house audiences for its "Every Friday night is fight night".

These posters from the1970s/1980s show some of the top liners, Adrian Street and Amazing Kung Fu, and also local Liverpool lads - The Liverpool Skinheads O'Neil and Paul, Kevin Conneely the Liverpool Irishman and Jack Martin the Hairy Chested Ex-Liverpool Docker!

David Higgins collected these posters when he regularly attended fights at the stadium from the age of ten.
