'I wanted to take a totally different angle on this. This is a representation of a shop front for 2006, compared to the 'hardware store' image. I wanted a total contrast to show how consumerism and technology have moved on......... '

Paul Daniels is based in North Wales but regularly uses Liverpool as an inspiration for his photography.
