'Boo-Boo' teapot and lid in the form of a pixie's toadstool house

Made by the Shelley pottery after a design by Mabel Lucy Atwell, about 1930

Mabel Lucy Atwell was a British children's illustrator, famous for her cute and nostalgic drawings. She had used the Boo-boo figure in 1920 as painted decoration on her nursery ware.

This teapot was purchased in 2006 for the Decorative Art department at National Museums Liverpool.
