First marketed as 'Modelled Miniatures' in 1931, Dinky Toys, made by Meccano Ltd, Liverpool, were hugely popular with children throughout the world. This London, Midland and Scottish Railway, 2nd type chassis, toy snow plough is part of the Museum of Liverpool's social history collection, which features a variety of Meccano and Dinky items.
