Over 300 European Old Master drawings are held in the Weld-Blundell Collection at the Walker Art Gallery. This richly illustrated catalogue by Xanthe Brooke features detailed examinations of works by Mantegna, Bandinelli, Domenichino, Sirani, Cambiaso, Guido Reni, Rembrandt,  Rubens and Tintoretto and includes all 300 drawings.

Including preparatory drawings, humorous sketches and highly finished designs it gives a fascinating insight into the techniques of some of the great Italian Renaissance and Nothern European artists.
