Bird's Custard Powder was invented by Alfred Bird in 1837 for his wife who had an allergy to eggs. The powder proved popular and it soon became a firm favourite for many Britons. The traditional 3 bird logo with red, yellow and blue stripes was created in 1929 and is now one of the most famous and iconic brand packaging styles in Britain.

This nostalgic tin features the traditional Bird's Custard Powder packaging design with the 3 Bird logo also on the lid.
