A single greeting card with a quote from Booker T. Washington (1856-1915). Booker T. Washington was an African-American educator, author and a leader in the Black Community. Washington was of the last generation of people born into slavery, he went on to become a leading voice of former enslaved people and theit descendants and became an advisor to Presidents of the U.S.
The quote says "No race can prosper till it learns that there is as much dignity in tilling a field as in writing a poem".
