A sturdy tote bag with a pretty, floral oil painting design inspired by the Bloomsbury set. 1916 was the year the artist Vanessa Bell and her writer husband Duncan Grant moved to Charleston farmhouse near Lewes, East Sussex. Vanessa’s sister Virginia Woolf, and other artistic friends and family regularly gathered here. In doing so, the Bloomsbury set was established, creating one of Great Britain’s most influential art movements of the 20th Century.
The tote bag has adjustable, leather carry straps and closing straps. It has three large compartments with the central one zipped for security. The bag is lined with a grey and pink, grid design and is embellished with a hot pink tassel on the side.
