About the dress

This dress was worn by Linda Cheung for her wedding at Liverpool Registry Office, Brougham Terrace, in November 1966. The reception, or wedding feast, was held at the Far East Restaurant, Berry Street. The dress was tailor-made and cost around £200, which was very expensive at that time.
