Stand with sweetmeat glasses

A photograph of a glass stand and five glasses. Four of them are smaller and surround the bigger one in the centre.

1750-80

Small glasses were used for jellies and creams. It was the custom to put a whole sugared fruit in the top glass.

Given by Francis Buckley 1944 and Mrs B Buckley 1950 and bequeathed by Mrs EM Roscoe 1950 and Walter Shore.
