Silk and card, made by Thomas Stevens of Coventry, 1880-1890
'Stevengraph' was the name given by Thomas Stevens to a range of silk bookmarks, portraits and postcards. They were very popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The right-hand piece gives the range and price of stevengraphs available. The middle piece is a portrait of the British Prime Minister WE Gladstone. The left-hand piece was made to celebrate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee in 1887.
