Rosalind Frances Nash

Relative of Florence Nightingale and donor of Egyptian antiquities

Rosalind Nash (neƩ Shore-Smith) was the eldest daughter of William Shore Smith, cousin of Florence Nightingale. Florence visited Egypt between 1849-50 and purchased small antiquities such as amulets and shabti funerary figures. Rosalind Nash inherited the collection and donated it to Liverpool Museum in 1949 via Salisbury Museum.
