Deposited 190 cuneiform tablets on loan to the museum in May 1951 (accessioned as 51.63) then purchased from his estate using War Damage Compensation funds, in December 1953 along with other various types of collections (including classical sculpture, medieval glass, jewellerey and coins) mostly accessioned with the prefix number 53.114.
