From Rossetti to Hockney, there is a diverse range of pieces at the Walker including contemporary art and work from as far back as the 13th century. To celebrate the Walker Art Gallery's 130th Birthday on 6 September 2007, Director of Art Galleries, Reyahn King, chose her top ten pieces from the Walker's permanent collection.
