This is the view from Knight’s studio at Langford Place in north London. The painting is full of the spirit of spring. Leafy trees sway above people enjoying being outside. Like Patrick’s Springtime in Eskdale, Knight depicts mankind’s impact on nature. This suburban setting shows people and nature in harmony.
