John Malcolm

1805-1893 Art collector and landowner, descendant of the Malcolm Clan in Scotland.

1805-1893 Son of Neill Malcolm, 12th of the Poltalloch, John Malcolm was an avid art collector and known as one of the great collectors of Victorian Britain. He left important cultural legacies through donating some of his collections to the British Museum [the Malcolm Collection of Old Master Drawings] and the British Library [Sforza Book of Hours].
