A wide vase with ridges around the main body.

Earthenware, designed by Keith Murray for Wedgwood, Staffordshire, about 1930

The architect Keith Murray is regarded as having produced some of the best examples of modernist design in ceramics. The simple, elegant lines of this vase, influenced by contemporary architecture, convey the modernist ethic of functional simplicity.
