This small display of prints by printmaker and illustrator Helena Markson (1934-2012) records the changing landscape of Liverpool in the 1960s. Markson made several trips to Liverpool in the mid-1960s to sketch and photograph different areas of the city.

Her vivid playful landscapes were greatly influenced by her surroundings. Using a combination of intaglio printing techniques such as etching and aquatint, she created varied tone and detail to capture Liverpool's diverse views.
