Performed by artist Paul Maheke, Mbu combines multi-layered video projection with dance and sound to speculate about embodied histories. The title Mbu means ocean or sea in Lingala, a Bantu language spoken in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and mother tongue of Maheke's father, whose singing features in the soundtrack.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Access to FORUM (Room 14) and Room 13 will be limited during these performances.

This event is part of our Coming Out events, Arts Council Collection and Black History Month event series.
