This event is fully booked

Join artist Josie Jenkins to explore water and colour with water-based painting and drawing techniques. We’ll explore different materials such as inks, water-soluble pencils and watercolour paints to create a colourful collection of artwork to take away. You will be able to find out more about the Lubaina Himid: Meticulous Observations and Naming the Money exhibition as part of this session. Children will also be able to obtain Arts Award Discover as part of this workshop as they take part in hands-on activities, find out about artists and their artwork, and share their discoveries.

This workshop is suitable for children age 7-12 accompanied by an adult. Due to the artistic processes and materials used in this session we are not able to accommodate children under 7 years of age.

This is a free event, but places are limited and pre-booking is essential. Please book a place for each child and adult attending. Tickets are available on our Eventbrite page.

This event is part of the Lubaina Himid exhibition and our Lubaina Himid events and Arts Council Collection event series.
