Come along to explore amazing insect specimens and create your own drawings of them to take away. Inspired by our Leonardo da Vinci: A Life in Drawing exhibition, we'll start at the Walker Art Gallery to take a look at the drawings in the exhibition and find out more about how they were created.

We'll then journey to World Museum to examine a selection of insects from the Entomolgy collection up close using microscopes. We will record our findings with different water-based drawing techniques, just like Leonardo did!

This session has been developed for children age 7-12 accompanied by an adult.

Collect a free ticket from the Walker Art Gallery information desk on the day, available 1 hour before the session start time.

Please note-due to space limitations, we ask that only one adult per family attends the workshop in order to allow space for other children.

This event is part of our Leonardo da Vinci and Easter event series.
