A series of exhibitions in partnership with the Arts Council Collection

The Walker Art Gallery is an Arts Council Collection National Partner and is currently curating a series of exhibitions and displays from the Arts Council Collection. The Collection includes important, often early, work by influential British artists from the mid-twentieth century to the present day.

Over a space of three years the partners of the Arts Council Collection National Partners Programme are curating twenty four must-see exhibitions, alongside a dynamic programme of educational activities and events, centred on the Arts Council Collection. Other partners in the programme include: Towner Art Gallery, Eastbourne, Birmingham Museums Trust and Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
