Design for a window at All Saints Church, Selsley, Gloucestershire, a church decorated with superb examples of Morris glass.

The model for Christ was the writer George Meredith. The other figures are Swinburne as St John, Simeon Solomon as St James, Christina Rossetti as the Virgin Mary, the red-haired Fanny Cornforth as Mary Magdalene, Ernest Gambart the art dealer as Judas and William Morris himself as St Peter.
