Pair of espadrilles, white linen, the soles of coiled jute, the edges bound with faded pink cotton tape. Laces of faded pink cotton. Front and back of uppers embroidered with an anchor motif in red wool.
Made to match the red-orange wool serge bathing costume and bathing cap that Emily Tinne wore on her honeymoon, which were also featured in the exhibition.
