Luke Gottelier was born in 1968. He studied at Maidstone, Exeter and Hull Schools of Art 1988-92 and at Norwich School of Art 2000-01. His first group exhibition was 'Nhoj' 152 Curtain Road London 1996, and more recent exhibitions include 'Surfacing' ICA London 1998; the NatWest Painting Prize 1999; 'Luke Gottelier, Tomoko Takahashi' Entwistle London 1999; and two one-person exhibitions at One in the Other, London and Window Gallery Prague 2001.
