Colin Lowe was born in 1966 and Roddy Thomson in 1965. Both studied at St. Martin's School of Art; Lowe continued at Chelsea School of Art 1990-91; Thomson at the Slade School 1989-91 and at the British School in Rome on a Rome Scholarship 1993-94. They began working together in the mid-90s and first showed as a single artist in 'Karaoke' South London Gallery 1995. In 1997-98 they curated their own shows 'Peripheral Visionary' De Fabriek, the Netherlands, 'No Ice' and 'Wines and Spirits' both 25 Agar Grove London. Recent shows include 'Art Crazy Nation' Milton Keynes Gallery and the solo exhibitions 'XXX Girlfriends' Hoxton Distillery London and 'The Pain Insider' Vilma Gold London, all 2002.
