Something Wild...at the Walker Art Gallery
Something Wild...at the Walker Art Gallery is a new and exciting storybook for children aged 5-9 years. The main characters, Keith and Ali, had never visited an art gallery before and this book follows them on their exciting adventure around the Walker.

Something Wild...at the Walker Art Gallery is a great way to introduce children to the idea of visiting a gallery and looking at paintings, sculpture and other works of art. It has eight accompanying activity cards with fun ideas for drawing, painting, crafts and further play at home, school or in your setting.

There are two versions of the book:

  • a large version is available free of charge to primary schools and other group settings based in Liverpool. To find out how to receive your free copy of the book please visit the primary schools and groups page.
  • a smaller version of the book is available for sale at all National Museums Liverpool venues or by mail order. For information on how to order a copy, please visit the families page.

Something Wild... at the Walker Art Gallery was produced in partnership with Liverpool Childcare and Family Information Service.
