Claw Club

Is there a young explorer in your family?

After a long absence our Claw Club has been re-launched! The Claw Club is a FREE natural history group for 8-11 year olds, held on a Saturday morning each month in World Museum. The club is run by the Bug House and Clore Natural History Centre staff with the help of our very own museum experts.

Here is a taster of some of the sessions we run:

  • Dinomania! dinosaur activities
  • Nature diary activities
  • Talks from a local bat expert for Halloween
  • An owl pellets and bones session
  • Special behind the scenes bug tours

In the summer there will be outdoor field trips to Hilbre Island where we may see grey seals, visits to Sudley House for bug hunts and beachcombing in New Brighton.

How to join:

The club is free to join but places are limited. Our outdoor sessions are also free to attend but please be aware that we cannot provide transport and car parking fees may apply to some sites. Parents are expected to remain with children on field trips.

If all places are currently filled, you will be added to a waiting list. If you would like to join, please complete the membership form below and return to the address shown.

Alternatively you can contact the World Museum information desk on 0151 478 4393 and ask to speak to Bug House staff.
