About this object

Small head of a female possibly from a votive statuette. The facial features are mostly broken. She is wearing a type of veil or headdress and the back of a seat can be discerned. The back of the head is very flat and the statue was most probably attached to an architectural setting. The head is probably from the type of kourotrophos( woman seated and holding a child ).
