About this object

Part of a male beardless head from a votive statuette. The eyes are almond shaped and the lips are thin and smiling. There are two rows of corkscrew curles on the forehead. The head is surrouned by a headband decorated with large rosettes in relief. The hair at the crown which is surviving is arranged in vertical grooves. Most of the facial features have faded, the nose and the back of the head is broken.
