About this object

A young male head from a votive underlife size statue. The man has a round face and well defined eyes with the corners of the eye lids meeting each other. The eye brows are low. His lips are thin and in a slight smile. His hair is short and arranged in a fillet at the crown of the head. He appears to be wearing a vey faded wreath on his forehead. The right side of the face has significanly eroded and there is a big hacking mark on his right cheek, possibly from the excavation.
