About this object

A round small head of a young male from a votive statuette. The eyes are big with well defined eye lids and low arched eye brows and his nose is partially broken. He has short hair and he is wearing a wreath with a thick line of hair underneath it on the forehead. The hair at the crown of the head is arrqanged in vertical hatches that may suggest that he was wearing a fillet. The limestone is very porous and flaky.
