Head from a votive statue

About this object

A small and round young male head from a votive statuette. The eyes are slightly bulgy and have well defined eye lids that meet. The eye brows are low arched, the nostrils of the nose are wide, the lips are a thin line and the ears are realistically shaped. The young man is wearing a wreath and there is a thin line of ridges of hair on the forehead underneath the wreath. Most of the facial features have eroded and the back of the head is very flat.
