About this object

A deep bowl with a base ring, an angular body and a flat rim. The decoration is of the White Painted I type with a creamy and reddish slip on the external body and thick red brown circular bands along the base, the upper body and the rib. The interior is also decorated with brown circular bands along the upper as well as the lower body and underneath the rim. The interior base has a spiral design painted in brown paint. The bowl has been pieced together at the base by two different sherds. Part of the interior slip has fallen off and there is also encrustration.
