About this object

A large wheel made jug with a ring base a long body, a thick and short neck with a ridge at its base and a rim that is well defined with two rings. The decoration is of the bucchero type, Type ICa with a black slip and vertical ribs on the body. The jug was restoreon the neck and rim and some areas of the body and was pieced together by different shards. Much of the bucchero slip has fallen and the clay is buff.
