About this object

A small, wheel made jug with an ovoid body, a narrow and short neck with a round and flaring rim. The jug has a vertical handle from rim to shoulder. There is a small round whole on one side of the body and dark clay circle all around it. The jug is of the White Painted III type decoration with three circular brown bands running across the lower part of the body, two concentrics in the upper part of the body by the handle area. The base of the neck in dark outline, a similar outline is all around the base of the handle as well as at the interior of the rim. There are several fragments missing from the main body of the jug.
