About this object

A wide bowl with a ring base, a tall angular body and a circular rim. There are two small side angular handles. The bowl has decoration of the White Painted I type with a creamy painted slip on both the exterior and the interior of the body, thick and thin brown circuclar bands, one in the interior and exterior of the body. Thinner brown circular bands decorate the lower part of the interior. The interior of the rim is also painted in light brown while the interior centre of the bowl has a brown spiral. The sides of the bowl are uneven and one large part of it has been restored.
