About this object

A small but deep bowl with White Painted III type decoration of a red slip and thick brown circular bands along the exterior and the interior of its body. The interior base is also painted with a spiral design. The circular bands appear to spring from the spiral base spreading onto the body tracing the painter's brushstroke. One sherd has been joined together with the body and the bowl has had some restoration along its flat rim.
