Thomas Edwardes-Dyer's address in 1920 was Prinknash Park, Painswick, Gloucester. In 1895 he held the office of High Sheriff of Gloucestershire. In 1922 he donated to Gloucester City Museums a small collection of Egyptian antiquities he had collected in Egypt. In 1953 this was transferred to Liverpool to replace war losses.
