About this object

A deep bowl with a high foot, a flared rim and two horizontal handles on the sides. The bowl is of the White Painted I type decoration with two two thick dark bands, one along the rim and the other at the lower part of the body. In the middle part and between the bands there is decoration of two narrow panels. Each panel has in its centre a hatched lozenges' design with vertical thin lines on each of its sides. The handles and the foot of the bowl are also painted in dark brown. The interior has decoration of thick dark painted bands along the rim, the lower part and the centre of its base. The bowl has been repaired and joined together by different sherds. Some sherds are still missing in four areas of the bowl.
